NODO Grants will support the development of African Web3 projects to foster innovation and promote mass adoption, opening up business and financial opportunities for both African startups and consumers.

Why We’re Launching
NODO GRANTS
In Africa today, there is more interest in Web3 than ever, as well as many emerging projects. The NODO platform was created to inform, educate, and connect African Web3 innovation to mass consumers and NODO Grants will add to this by providing support for African Web3 builders.

Eligible Applicants for
NODO GRANTS
- 1Individuals with outstanding African Web3 business ideas.
- 2Web2 businesses with outstanding African Web3 business ideas
- 3Promising African Web3 products in the MVP, seed or pre-seed stage

Awarded each round
for outstanding business ideas or products that can effectively
introduce Web3 adoption into Africa.
up to $10,000 - 25,000
grant or investment
for products that can effectively introduce Web3 & blockchain
technology adoption to Africa.
Here is how NODO Grants will work
- Applicants may submit both ideas (pre-launch) and products (MVP or launched) on the NODO website.
- Eligible submissions will undergo a verification process in order to be listed on NODO Discover
- Once published, submissions will be open for voting by NODO Discover users.
- Submissions with the highest user votes will enter our pool for NODO Grants consideration.

Evaluation Criteria
Potential applicants to NODO Grants will be evaluated fairly by the
following six metrics. Decisions will be made by a panel of NODO Grants
Experts who will be scoring candidates across these criteria. For any

Web3 African Adoption

Strong Market Potential
The product or business idea has a strong market potential in a specific industry and clear Total Addressable Market (TAM)

Web3 Adoption in Africa
The product or business idea effectively introduces or increases Web3 adoption in Africa

Go to Market
The product or business idea has a clear go to market strategy in achieving the total market potential for the product
CRITERIA #2:
Innovation Factor

Clear Value Proposition
The product or business Idea’s value proposition and core product roadmap are clearly stated

Product Innovation
The product or business Idea by the Grants applicant is innovative and distinct in its use of WEB3 technology in Africa

Product Market Fit
The product is solving clear problem(s) in the Pan-African market and has a strong real world use case
